Tip #11: Be Clear About Your Philosophy of Leadership

Leadership is a relationship between people. People will be more willing to follow an individual who has taken the time to determine who they are and what they believe in. By knowing and living your leadership philosophy every day, you let others know what you stand for.

Write down and share your leadership philosophy. What’s that? Think about the core values you live by, what you expect of your people, what they can expect of you, and how you will evaluate performance.
