Great leaders are not afraid to share leadership. They Enable Others to Act by first developing relationships with their team members, and then creating opportunities for their growth in both confidence and competence.

 

A leader’s responsibility is to impact vision to results by coaching for potential and building capacity in others. According to Stephen Covey, “Effective leaders create a culture in which team members can say, ‘I am a valued member of a winning team doing meaningful work in an environment of trust.’”

 

Take action! In every interaction ask, “What can I do in this moment to share leadership – to make others feel more empowered, more competent, and more confident.” Help your team members find their voice.
