Research shows that teams who develop a reputation for high-performance place little importance on personal recognition and status. Their emphasis is on collective results, with efforts focused on serving the common-good of the team and the organization.
Effective leaders place a high value on collective success. As you continue on your path of Transformational Leadership, find ways to express your personal commitment to achieving the team’s goals. Reach out to team members and ask them to also make a public commitment to the group’s objectives.
