Tip #34: Challenge Others to Try Innovative Ways to Work

Leaders are constantly looking for new ways and fresh perspectives to getting work done. They are curious about new processes to deliver value to students and challenge everyone working with them and for them to do the same.

Here are some ideas to “Challenge the Process”:

• Solicit input from colleagues and students (internal and external) on what you can do to better serve them

• Assess and analyze what processes may need to change in order to improve

• Encourage your team to find new options and opportunities to work differently

• Engage your team by brainstorming and exploring “what will and won’t work”
