Be mindful of opportunities for leaders that might not otherwise be available to them. These occasions can relate directly to ongoing projects and initiatives or indirectly to the objectives set out in their professional development plan. Provide as many growth opportunities as possible that challenge and education, but never set up people for failure. New ways of learning and growing increase the visibility of leaders generating learning for mastery of specific skills and creating new possibilities for action.
